OCR is an inexpensive way to perform comprehensive searches. The OCR process runs images through a computer intensive program that converts the image into text. Now that the image has been converted into text you can perform keyword searches to quickly and easily find documents that are of importance to you. Using coded data and OCR technology allows for the end users to maximize results. At Rhino we use distributed OCR engines to allow for any available processor to be utilized for faster results. Currently, we have the capacity to process over 1 million pages a week.
